£3.2m office and warehouse projects for an internet retailer

As a result of increasing sales, projects totalling £3.2m has enabled the leading retailer to expand its storage space, increase its office and welfare accommodation and reconfigure its existing office area.  

Reworking the 13,700m2 site began in 2007 and continued until late 2009 with numerous alterations.

Teepee was awarded the contracts based on experience, expertise and a proven track record within the office refurbishment/fit out and storage and handling sectors.

The alterations were carried out in phases and comprised:

  • 5033m2 three tier racking system nominally 11.85m high complete with walkways, picking aisles, assess stairs and loading gates
  • 7021m2 of both two tier and single tier mezzanine floors
  • 702m2 of new office and welfare facilities
  • 780m2 reconfigured office space

As well as offering value for money, Teepee was able to provide the necessary design and project management teams to oversee the project work.
  
Additional orders were placed for electrics, data, heating, fire protection, ventilation etc totalling in excess of £2.2m direct by the client working in partnership with Teepee.
